Summer Fun ATC Challenge

Hi Everyone!!

I've tried my hand at making an ATC for a challenge over at Girls, Giggles, Glitter and Glue. We had several rules to follow -- the most challenging (for me) being we couldn't use decorative paper.

A couple of months ago I created a wall hanging. I used the Bohemian Bazaar G45 paper and my Mother fell in love with it. She said that she would love something like it for Mother's Day.

Canvas on a budget

Hi my crafty peeps! 

I'm here today with a canvas that I made that was inspired by a sketch over at Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge Blog. Not only did they have a sketch for us we were challenged to use 1 old and 1 new item in our project. I used pearls by the yard for the old and washi tape that I have just received from Pinque Peacock for the new. :-)

Taming the Craftermath

Hello my Crafty Peeps! I'm here today with my final DT Project for The Cutting Cafe. I have had such a GREAT time the past couple of months working with Regina and all of the DT Members -- I just can't believe that the term is coming to an end.....

I have learned so much working with Regina and the group. I have tried new techniques, refined my style and pushed my design style.

Thank you Regina for giving me the opportunity! I hope you enjoy today's project and I hope to work with you again in the future. :-)

So, as I have found myself in a creative whirlwind over the past few months, one thing has become CRYSTAL clear -- I am a messy crafter -- can anyone relate? I tend to pull embellishments that I think I *might* use on a project and have everything laid out in front of me while working on a project. By the time I finish the project I am drowning in my craftermath....Today's project is something that I have put together to try and corral all of my gorgeous bits and pieces.

A lot of times when I create I have a vague idea of what I want the end result to be. Through the process of creating I may, or may not, have a project at the end that matches my original vision. I always enjoy this process and it's results.

This was not one of those times.

I *knew* exactly what I was going to create as soon as I found out that this week's DT project for The Cutting Cafe was the Configuration Box SVG file. Not only could I "see" the end result I had an entire story to go along with it in my head!

Does that happen to you? It was so clear to me! I had such a good time creating this altered book -- I hope you love it as much as I do!!

OK! It is official! I am D. O. N. E. with winter!! I know that the calendar says that it is spring -- but Mother Nature did not get that memo....so I'm here with a special DT project for  The Cutting Cafe today to help remind her! :-) The file I'm working with is the Big Girl Elisha Jean and Friends and I really think they are too cute for words!

I just know that Spring will find us eventually......as I write this post we are expecting yet ANOTHER storm...sigh....I'm hoping that this super cute card from The Cutting Cafe will help to take our minds off of the cold!! LOL I think that this Flower Pot Shaped Card is perfect for this time of year! It can be used for so many different occasions AND the file comes with printable sentiments to match any need. :-)

Spring Tag

Hi! I'm here today with a DT project for The Cutting Cafe. Our inspiration was the color green. :-) When I heard the assignment, was something spring like. I am so over winter this year that I can't wait to see the pretty flowers popping up!! So, I used elements from the Ribbon Tag Shaped Card and created a pretty tag with a beautiful flower collage.

Graphic 45 Design Team 2014 Audition

Hi! Thank you for the opportunity to audition for Graphic 45's 2014 Design Team. The following are several of my favorite projects, as you can see decor and 3D projects are where my crafting heart lives. I hope you enjoy these projects as much as I do.

First up is one of my latest projects. :-) I have used the Graphic 45's Bohemian Bazaar paper and I just LOVE how it came out! I have mixed together a variety of embellishments and I think I have achieved a great bohemian look.

Flower Fun!

Hi Everyone!!

I have been having SO much fun this week playing with The Cutting Cafe's flower files! The two files I used are Paper Flower Template and Cutting File and the Layered Flowers Cutting File. They are so beautiful and go together so easily I just can't stop making them!! Last week you saw some of the flowers topping my inspiration blocks and I'm back today featuring them with a this week's DT project.

The idea for today's project came when I became interested (obsessed) with tags. :-) I've been watching youtube videos and I've been mesmerized by them. I've never made any before and really wanted to try one -- so this is what I made.

This amazing guitar box is from the Vintage Valentine collection. Isn't it just too cute for words? Following Mary and Leo's great tutorial video I was able to put it together in no time at all. :-)

A Kiss Goodbye.....

As my lovely and beautiful daughter gets ready to go back to school today, I put together this sweet little treat box from The Cutting Cafe for her. I have been very happy having her home for the past 5 weeks, but the new semester is beginning, so off she goes. I'm hoping that this week's Cutting Cafe DT Project - a super cute treat box - will put a smile on her face when she discovers it tucked into her suitcase!

Welcome back and Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday season -- I certainly did. :-) The storm that came through on Jan 2 & 3 meant that I had an additional 2 days of vacation. It was nice but I'm really ready to get back into my routine now.

Today I have a great project and an announcement to share with all of you. I have been selected as a design team member for The Cutting Cafe!! Today is my first DT post that I'm making -- I hope you enjoy it. :-) There are a lot of great projects planned so make sure to keep in touch!
