Stash Smashing Gingerbread House!

Hello my crafty peeps!!

I have a very special project to share with you today from SVG Cuts. BUT, before I get to it I would like to ask that you take a minute and like my Christy's Crafty Corner Facebook page. Thank you!!

This adorable gingerbread house gift box is from the new Happy Holidays SVG Kit that was just released. :-) The amazing thing is that this kit is FREE for a limited time...that's right! It's free!! Not only is this fantastic cottage part of the giveaway but there are 4 gift bag files in the kit as well.

As you can see all of the pieces cut beautifully and Mary has included liner pieces for the whole inside..that way if you do use it as a gift box the inside is just as pretty as the outside.

On several elements I used the Fantastic Glaze and Glue that I first told you about after my visit to the  CKC Scrapbook convention. I just LOVE how this adds just the right amount of shine and dimension!
The paper I used is from the DCWV Cherry Limeade stack. I didn't want a traditional Christmas look and I just think this paper is beautiful!! The gems are from a variety of different companies and I had so much fun adding them. I love that they give just the right amount of sparkle.

When I was done (well....when I thought I was done!) I realized that the chimney needed something, so to my stash I went. As soon as I came across my Pinque Peacock goodies I knew that I was going in the right direction. The Felt Popper and Beaded Stick Pin make the perfect finishing touch -- don't you think?!?

Thank you for stopping by today! I appreciate you taking the time to look at my latest creation!!

~Christy

  1. Thank you so much for letting us know SVGCuts was offering this for free! I had considered purchasing it but decided not to for some reason.

    1. I'm glad I could help! I have *no* idea how long they will keep it this way, but for now it's free. :-) They said it was their Thank You for winning the Martha Stewart Made in America contest.
